I wanted to take a second and tell you about some things that have been on my mind for a couple of days.

The recent events in the economy are making people very nervous. Especially those that are business owners. There are so many people out there trying to tell you about this great opportunity for an online business, but how can you know which are the real deal or the ones trying to make a quick buck off of you?

I have tried a lot of online business opportunities only to be very disappointed later on. There are a lot that talk a good game but never give any assistance after you sign up. It is almost like they got what they wanted out of you and then they are through with you and you are on your own trying to figure out how to even get started with this business. Take for example GDI (Global Domains International). I have signed up to GDI a couple of times and the first time I got no help what so ever from the person that referred me. I had no experience with online businesses or even how to promote one. I was lost, he talked a good game but once he had me paying out he was done with me. Now do not get me wrong GDI is a great opportunity to make money and you can and will, but you will need help.

Right before I was going to quit GDI I stumbled upon this great site GDI2GO these guys gave me the training and the help to start getting sign ups and money in my pocket. And the best part of this was it was free, how can you get free training from professional business men? I was amazed at how easy it was to get started and begin this new adventure.

Now you have to be very careful at how you approach any business. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS INSTANT MONEY PROGRAMS!!!! I don’t care who you are talking to or what they say. This just is not true. Any business you plan to start, or any affiliate program you sign up for you need to realize it will take time and some money to get things rolling. I see so many affiliate programs where people say you will make money in as little as one day, I just don’t believe this and you should not either. What they should say is I can make money off of you in one day. Just be careful with some of these programs out there.

If you are already in GDI or own any business let me take a second and tell you about this really cool site that you can promote on. Direct Matches this is a free to join social network. This gives you the opportunity to display your site(s) with millions of people. This can be very effective, and a very powerful tool to use. Now they do offer paid memberships, I currently am a paid member this has its advantages because you get to email a larger group of people than a free membership, you get great placement with your text ads, and you also get a press release service with a paid membership. This even gives you the chance to make money while you promote your business. Now I am not trying to sell you on this. I am just letting you know about a great tool you can use in order to get people interested in what you are selling or promoting. Three steps towards getting on the top page of google

S Step 1
Hi again I hope everything is going good for you all. I found something when I was performing the SEO (search engine optimization). All the big name stores and any web site that is on the top pages of any google search uses back links to get there fast. What I would do is first submit any web site you have using this http://www.submitexpress.com/submit.html it is free and it submits to all the major search engines.

STEP 2
Next go here and just write up some promotion and place your website here and you will instantly get picked up by google http://n2.nabble.com/The-water-cooler-f1469503.html. When you get pick up by google and the other search engines then you want to follow step 3.

Ok I know this seems like a lot to do but it takes hardly no time and it works fast. Now for the grand fanale back links go here it is free and submit your web sites here and remember to only place your links on sites that have a high PR rating usually 5 is good anything higher is great 4 is ok but I would waste time with anything lower than that http://www.directorycritic.com/.

Getting Noticed By Search Engines

I would like to say that it is a pleasure writing to you all. To start with when you make any web site up and you got it ready do some SEO (search engine optimization) on your sight, even it you have had this site for years this can make or break you.

Now another great tool is forums, these are very powerful tools and will really help bring in traffic. One that I started you can even promote your website flat out. Now then you don't even have to go to forums that have anything to do with your web site; any will do just when you add your signature file. Use whatever web site you want to promote. People will click them and see who is this person what are they about and this could lead to major traffic with very little effort. Now then for another great way to generate some traffic is traffic exchanges. These can bring in major traffic free. It does take some work though because it works like this, I will look at your site for a certain amount of time, and you will look at mine. Many people will stumble upon your web site and this will bring in guaranteed traffic to your sites.

Now another great way to get some traffic and to get on the front page of some of the major search engines is text ad exchanges. What I mean is this, say you type in a keyword like pool tables and you click on the first web site there. Now you can contact them and ask them if they would send you a text link to their site in exchange for them to place you text link on their site. This can get you picked up by Google or any search engine in no time. I have wasted a lot of time submitting my site to search engines to get nowhere until I started doing this and it works in a matter of minutes I was on Google. So this can be very powerful stuff. Part of it is your keyword research, then SEO to tweak it more, go to different forums and blogs and make sure you leave comments with your signature file, traffic exchanges, and finally text ad exchanges with other websites. Doing this can quickly rise your web site to the top and bring in some traffic to your site and money in your pocket! If writing is an art, then, blogging is one way of using words to come up with an art. This is because people who are into blogging are sometimes the ones who are artistic on their own sense, carefully choosing words that would best describe their feelings, sentiments, wishes, desires, and everything.

However, with web logging, you still need a web site and domain names, but with blogging, you do not need anything just an account with blog providers. In most cases, these kinds of blogs are free of charge.

5. Make it interactive

As much as possible and if your capacity will allow it, make your blog interactive. Yu can do this by placing some video or audio clips in your blog.

You can even place an area for comments or for some feedbacks. In this way, you can get some impressions or reactions of other people. Who knows, you might even gain some friends just by making them feel at home in your blog site.

Indeed, blogs are not created just for the mere fun of it. It also has its own purpose in the world of the Internet.

Therefore, for people who wish to harness their craft, as far as writing is concerned, blogs are the best way to do it.
